Qantas A380 Completes 17-Hour Ferry Flight

Operating as flight QF6020, the empty aircraft covered the 16,105 KM in 17:44 hours without any passengers aboard (5% longer than the current longest commercial flight).

The aircraft was returning home after completing heavy maintenance at the Elbe Flugzeugwerke facility in Dresden, which specializes in major maintenance work on wide-body aircraft like the A380.
